Africa is in the grip of change, and wildlife trafficking has exploded. Lou grew up in Masaranga Safari Park, and the elephants mean the world to her. Fresh out of university, she returns home to study their migratory patterns during one of Kenya’s worst droughts. A poaching gang has targeted the park, and its ringleader is no ordinary poacher. Lou must expose the predatory syndicate and protect her beloved elephants.
On a trip to Mombasa, Lou meets Steve, whose interests follow a parallel path. Yet she must keep her plans hidden. She will learn to navigate the male-dominated world of international ivory smuggling. Ultimately, Lou must face her innermost demons if she’s to rescue the elephants.
